perma red cheeks, standing by

alright /fa/, really need some advice here

I've been battling my hair for years. It's super thick and curly, so it never really does what i want. ive had countless haircuts, been in tons of hair threads, been through the (bullshit) sticky, and tried different things, and i just cant figure out what i should do. Any tips on product or styling would be awesome. I almost like this cut, but i really dont like how it looks on the side, and especially in the front how it goes back then up, opposed to curvin out, up and over, like a wave.
