Has anyone ever bought anything from Beatware? I really love the Lennon's or the Zips, but I have no idea of the quality. There was one Anon a long time ago who said the quality was trash...but I'm tempted heavily by the cuban heel.

I want to get 'one' cuban heel, and I don't want to fuck it up by getting one from a shit brand. Does anyone have experience with them, or could you recommend something else that is better?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry Anons, but I tried posting this in the thread that was more appropriate to cuban heels last week but no one responded.

Does anyone have experience with BeatWear? I am keen on getting a pair of Lennons or Zips, but one Anon posted a few weeks back saying that the quality was shit. Can anyone confirm? I don't see a problem with them, and their reputation seems okay...so, is there any reason to avoid them?

Thanks in advance, and I'm sorry I had to put this in here but there's no where else to ask.

Question for you Bootanons. A while back (probably about 2 weeks ago), someone mentioned that they'd bought a pair of Beatwear and that they turned out to be shit quality, or at least, worse than they had expected. Is that Anon here, and could he answer a few questions?

I really really really want to pull the trigger on a pair of the Lennons, but the Zip Boots are also very appealing. So, what I'm wondering is, what was wrong with the ones the Anon got, and is there any reason to avoid Beatwear?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem lately, but I think it's because I'm being bombarded by examples of pics where it looks fucking awesome. You know how it is, the more you see it looking good, the more you think it'll look good on you.

Maybe you should just get a set, not too expensive, and see how they work with your wardrobe. If they work, then you can save up and get a good pair after the first pair wears out.

>pic related...I think these are the most beautiful cuban heels ever made...

What are the boots in your pic Anon? They're really beautiful...

Damn you /fa/. I didn't know of the existence of Cuban heels until now. Granted, I knew that Rubio wore them, and people made fun of him for his height, but I didn't know it was something that was a legit style as opposed to a one-off or custom boot. Now I want one.

The Beatwear high zip boot looks fucking perfect...jesus. Pic related.

I agree and disagree with you guys on tucking in vs. not. The way I see it, if the boot agrees with the overall aesthetic in terms of function of the boot, then you can tuck in (so, riding boots are obviously tucked in, but cowboy boots are dependent on the saddle and trouser combo). But in your pic Anon, there is in my eyes a problem. The boots are beautiful, well cared for but clearly fashion and not protective in terms of purpose (i.e. not rugged or military). Tucking them into pants which could suggest riding actually makes us notice how low they are compared to riding boots (which tend to be up towards the bottom of the knee).

Your pic >>13809326 works because you have cowboy boots with jeans, and they can be tucked in no problem because protection+rugged jeans. The function is correct, and the application matches.

But in the other pic of the nice ones, function doesn't work. These are not protective boots designed for a specific purpose...they're modified refined leather shoes with a heel and column. If you only see the toe area like on the right side of the pic (in real life, not the mirror), you could mistake the shoe for a formal office shoe.

I wouldn't tuck those in at all...but just my 2 cents.
