You're free to feel that way. Obviously we're all going to have different interpretations of the idea because there's no real set definition for what neofolk is. However, I would at least ask that you give examples of your own interpretation, otherwise this just becomes a defeatist exercise.

Not even images if necessary. At least present some alternative ideas to help move the discussion along. Maybe if you post some better ideas, I'll be able to understand the flaws in my interpretation and will adjust my tastes accordingly. (I can appreciate why you think my image was too diffuse or related)

lol, I can guarantee that my understanding of neofolk is deeper than yours, and my posts cover a lot of stuff that could be considered part of it or could be used as inspiration. It's your understanding that is superficial and narrow.

What is your problem with the pictures in question anyway? Since all of them were (and are) pictures of women I figured you were a triggered nofapper. Better yet, don't answer that, and don't go on complaining. My dump is completed anyway and we do not need another thread devolving into angry shitposts.

Wrong, it is traditional European clothjing which overlaps with some old military uniforms. Neofolk=/=random milsurp (especially stuff ars new as flecktarn parkas).
