these threads are made to remind people that personal experimentation when it comes to style can be very rewarding. your style will not get a chance to develop unless you push it beyond its current boundaries, regardless of the direction. remember that nothing grows in the comfort zone. what you perceive to be stylistic "mistakes" is a way of learning of what you like, and how to move away from that in a successful manner. as long as you have the drive, then your creativity will be born from improvisation, experimentation, and chance.
