I have a 30% off H&M coupon that I want to use but I can't find anything in the woman's area that loks good and fits my style which has been described as "extra in a British teen drama" and I also wish to move away from that, but I still like to wear Dr. Martens and parkas.

How bad really is this place? If you're dirt poor enough to where H&M seems like a good option, is it better to just go thrifting? I've seen some decent basics there but I have no clue how well they hold up quality-wise
