So what's the solution? Find that club, passion, person, job, study, etc, to fill that void in your life. Will this be as easy as saying fuck it and going back on this site? Nope. It's going to take some initial motivation, but that's okay. Find something to envelop your life and you won't feel the urge to go back on internet. Doing online schoolwork won't be an issue because you will be on the computer to do that, not browse the internet. The most important thing is that your priorities change, and they will, you just have to go out there. Talk to some people, look into your universities clubs, build accountability. In the end, it won't be a problem, you will look back at your internet "addiction" and wonder why you thought it was so great in the first place.
I lived and breathed the internet for the better part of 7 years, same time frame as you and everything, went to university and changed my priorities in life. All it took was that initial motivation. You have to want it though. Don't let your brain trick you into thinking a night of moping on the computer is better than anything else.
