I would suggest just starting the threads that you want to see and beginning to acclimate the cross-posters to higher levels of fashion.

Think about ourselves: the only reason we want "old /fa/" back is because it was welcoming and taught us valuable and enjoyable knowledge. If you build the culture, they'll conform to it. If you don't, they'll build their own culture.
