What's the best way to store boots for summer without them getting mold or anything like that?

I'm thinking of putting them in their boxes and storing them at the bottom of my wardrobe, not taking them to the garage, because I've seen so many photos of people finding mold and shit after taking their leather shoes out of storage

Maybe I should throw in one of those "do not eat" moisture absorbing packets?

Is it a shit move to go to a shoemaker who makes belts from the same exact leathers as his shoes (to match) and order just the belts so you can match them with shoes made from other shoemakers?

I have
- a brown CXL service boot
- a snuff suede Indy
- a Color 8 shell boot
- an empty spot for a fourth and final boot

What next?
Obviously the logical answer is a second boot that can handle rain well (i.e. no shell, no suede).
I guess a plain black chelsea? It's a little basic and I own zero black shoes apart from a pair of oxfords.

Is it possible to have a wide foot if you are of normal weight?
Or are wide feet just a symptom of being fat and nothing else?

Opinions on reverse kudu suede compared to usual calf suede?

What's wrong with, for example, a 70 Euro Meermin belt? It's got high quality French leathers, it's simply made in China or wherever. It's a belt, not rocket science. The chinks can manage.
