I have one of these coats, it's THE best winter coat I have ever owned bar none. I have a similar one from Belgium. They copied the front but kept some European features like the collar hooks and rear belt. Just doesn't compare for me, so I'm selling it off.

I don't know how many of you have studied original photos, but this can be very true. A lot of the guys posted here are lookers. I think as objects, the German uniforms do have some qualities that make them exceptional but an exceptional uniform does not make exceptional people, nor does it automatically make an unexceptional person special.

Still love it though.
