will generic shoe trees do the same? sure but not to the same extent as lasted ones will

if creasing is what you're concerned with the tannage and the quality of the clicking will determine much more than any shoe tree

as in if you buy shit like thursdays and wolverines it'll crease like hell cause its shit and no shoe trees will save them
