Theres more to it than the movements, better bracelet, 6 o'clock date window, display back, better bezel action, ceramic dial, updated more model design.

If you can get the older one for a good price it's still a great watch, I like the gloss dial awswell.

This amounts to a facile claim that any and all divers that use a triangle 12, rectangular 3,6,9 and round indices for the other numbers is a copy of another watch even if the hands, dial, bezel, case-shape and bracelet design are all different.

By that loose a standard, literally every dive watch with circular indices is a rip-off, which is self-evidently absurd.
