I lurked /fa/ for a few years and started dressing a lot better, my friends noticed and made fun of me for caring how I looked.

Some girls would mire from afar but never approach.

I've been lifting for the past year and have put on 10kg and /fit/ is my primary board now.

The respect I get from strangers has tripled, women are much friendlier, my friends ask me for advice on how to lift, people start to subconsciously call you sir and refer to you as a man when they would call you things like champ before. Also I look great in singlets.

Now none of my old clothes fit me. But I'm far happier.

Once I'm done becoming fit I guess I'll get back into expensive clothes and become some kind of super amalgamation of both.
