The bottom pic is just a bastardized industrial version of the top. It is literally built by robots and aimed at the masses, no personal involvement from any person went to creating this.
Sure your car goes faster but there is no true sportsmanship in driving a car. It is a soulless creation for those who who just need a way to get around.
I can't help but to feel a sense of superiority while riding my horse and when I notice someone using a car I feel sorry for them and their boring bland lives.

I can almost tell the look that you're trying to go for, you're just not quite there yet.

If you're into plaid, stick to straight up flannel, LL bean has the good shit. Get a slightly darker color pair of jeans, and get nicer boots. The watch and the knife are pretty nice.

Also a tip, if you're going for an Americana look, never wear it all at once. The whole point of fashion is to take inspiration from certain aesthetics, and make it your own thing. I just don't want you out there walking around like a 2013 meme.
