I have a similar problem
I go for trousers with a long rise, since they sit high at the waist, and are relatively full-cut so as not to be hip-hugging.
Someone mentioned Yohji, there are a lot of Y's pants cut like that, Comme des Garcons Homme Plus is fond of a similar cut as well, and these Christophe Lemaire pants are issued in different fabrics over multiple seasons

Those are his two-pleat trousers in a turqoise woven cotton, really beautiful airy trousers, pretty perfect cut, it's really everything I like in terms of legwear. He's done them in a lot of different materials
