Going to buy this Carmina jump boots. Would these work well with /tip/ or would the pointed toes make them seem too European/formal and thus incongruent with the style?

Option 2 - Brown elbamat

Remember this is just the leather not the whole boot

You'll be able to see the stitching underneath

Most makers will use soles like these that don't go all the way to the edge
American makers just don't give a fuck and stitch through the rubber treading

Even some top tier English makers now glue the rubber soles without stitching sadly

A lot of brands have commando soles that do not go all the way to the edge so they look formal from the side

Another alternative is to find shoes with Ridgeway soles, the queens of low profile rubber soles. Ridgeway soles can be hard to source in general and not many brands offer them, usually reserved for MTOs.

Carmina wants 470€ for these

Doing a custom order for the same boot just to add eyelets to the shoelace holes and a storm welt brings the cost up to 925€
