runway fashion/high fashion is not intended to be appreciated in the same way as 'normal' clothing like adidas, uniqlo or whatever.
To explain metaphorically, if a brand like adidas was ed sheeran, then 'higher tier' clothing companies like A.P.C. would be more experimental and conceptual music (like death grips or something similar), and 'weird and retarded' fashion like Yzy season 1 or HBA or rick owens would be something like Schoenberg, where the interesting and unorthodox style is the main point of interest.
