I have a couple of fake Dw's too, one of them lost the glass and the other one has a tiny black speck of dust inside the case. So yeah, the build quality sucks. A friend of mine has a real one and it definitely looks better up close. And if you have both of them side by side you can instantly see the differences between them.
I'd still not drop that money on a cheap quartz though.

if you're gonna get oyster, get a submariner homage. Pic related is kind of outdated, but mostly solid info.

Of course, my own personal rule is if you're gonna drop money, get something nice. I'd go with the Obris Morgan at the bottom if you don't mind throwing down three hundred.
