To bad in reality a house becomes dirty. The more dirt the less quality your dwelling becomes.
A dirty house is like a dirty piece of clothing. It feels less good and weights down on your psych and also social interactions.

A hosue should allow comfortable living and should be aesthetically pleasing. The most important factor is functionality though. You can live without comfort or aesthetics, but not without functionality.

Thats something i like about traditional japanese architecture. Simple, comfy, open, clean with not much shit standing around and green. This interpreted in modern would be cool.
