Half Chinese guy here so I'm figuring I could rock a bun well.

How can I patch this up so it looks less disgusting while it grows out? Considering light trim on sides and back.

1) Want to grow out hair long (so don't want to be cutting my hair unless this shitty mid-length phase can't be dealt to)
2) How to deal with the shitty clumpy roll thing at the back?
