i don't know where the misconception that a lot of people pay big money for rick and julius and the like comes from -- a lot of us comb online marketplaces and auction sites for reasonable deals. I could point you towards drkshdw denim and tops under $75 while people on this board are buying acne products new for three times that. the real trick is budgeting yourself within your means with what you want to wear -- what you're spending should have very limited bearing on what you want to look like if you put out a modicum of effort

i want this backbag so bad

1. Have the money but you can't find the clothes you want because they are sold out everywhere
2. Know exactly what you want and be able to try them on at a local store but not having the money to buy them
