Consider me a customer. I was planning on picking up a vk64 watch. The problem is, seiko offer them in their $100 watches, which is good value, but they all look pretty bland and ugly except for that one antarctic chronograph one anon brought here >>13642642

There are a lot of microbrands doing vk64's too, but they're all around the 300 dollar mark which is honestly a lot of money for some very shit, amateur self made designs.

You're also competing with the seagull 1963's, I don't think there's anything you can do there besides offering a non oriental dial and a cheaper movement to service

My advice, get it around $180, steal a dial design directly from the vintage watches you have collected, keep it brandless, don't fuck it up with fake patina. If you can do this I believe you will have a lot of happy customers, shift a lot of orders, and make a bit of money. Offer the option to buy the watch without the strap too.

Pic related is a dude in Korea offering a stolen brandless dial design with a good movement, good case, at a good price, I would call him a success story.
