Welp, I fucked up my new shoes with wax. Tried brushing and putting on some color cream to cover it up but it's still visible. Can I fix this (without acetone)?

This pisses me off because I've been super careful and I did my research but no one told me you can't leave wax on a spot even for a second. Other than that they turned out pretty well, I obviously didn't even try to mirror shine them.
