But yeah, honestly, you're going to need more to get into quality goods of any style. Luckily, streetwear is a bit more accessible than say, gothninja.

Stick with some basics first, ease your way in. Try looking for things on sale primarily, Norse Projects and Reigning Champ can be found on sale here and there and are great basic pieces. Considering thrift shopping too, just be careful what you by, and be really sure before you buy it - the low price can make it seem like it doesn't matter too much, but you'll still regret spending that money on a piece you'll never wear instead of saving it for something you would.

For outerwear, consider Carhartt honestly, WIP if you can afford it. Also Penfield, though both of these are breaking a bit into workwear - but there's a lot of workwear influence into streetwear right now anyways.

Also, work on your sock game. Great socks can really push some fits to a new place.
