I'm the original poster of that picture. That photo was taken in a library coming off of an all-nighter and a bad cold. I had been doing no-poo for maybe 3 or 4 days at that point and had no product in my hair. I showered that morning and rinsed my hair thoroughly with cold water, frizzled it up with a towel, and left my house with it still somewhat damp.

This is what my hair looked like before getting too long.

I don't think I'm a meme, but I took that picture and haven't got a hair cut since it was taken 3 weeks ago. My hair is effectively the same but I shaved. After posting it, I had people telling me it was fine, some telling me to grow it out, and some telling me that trimming it would be for the best.

I've only recently decided to do anything about my hair which is why you've probably seen it a bit too much recently. Color me surprised when /fa/ actually responds to me somewhat positively because I think it looks like shit.
