The ones I was thinking of were the ones that weren't worn as much (1861 Speedy, and maybe one of the Seamasters), but a month or so, all of that changed due to circumstances that encouraged/required me to wear them more. So, the 1861 is in regular rotation now during recreation, as are the two Seamasters. It's funny how life works out.

>>18077501
Good to see you, CredorChad! Love those street racers; we'd never see that stuff where I live.

>>18077543
For me, a 4:30 date window looks odd because if I'm wearing a single watch, it'll be on my right hand, so reading the date is sideways. If they did a left-hand 7:30 date, then it would be fine.

>>18077554
I agree with >>18077573 on this one: definitely one of the Citizen models with the 0100 movement in them. Mine has been discontinued, but they've put the movement into less expensive but still beautiful watches. The only thing I don't know about them is what happens when we need servicing...I'm a little concerned about that.

>>18077777
Gorgeous twin-turbo...they didn't make many of those.

>>18077787
GOOD LUCK!!! Hope it arrives safe and sound!

Aw, beautiful Hour Vision; always loved these! Is it running well! Yes, the Japanese think of everything...when I bought it, it had been shipped after they set the time to my time-zone, so when I opened the box, it was already synced to the second. Mind-blown...

>>18055512
I don't get hangovers from what I drink now, as I have a 'system' to prevent it (i.e. lots of liquids after, sleep, etc.), so I'm doing well Fren. I do need lots of sleep though. It was a great eve! What are you wearing today, Fren?

I am here, dear Fren. How are you? What are you wearing today? I hope you are well.

>>18021988
It looks like the Omega Constellation without the Fangs. Still a great design...but...eh. Piaget never 'grabs' me.

>>18022093
Congrats Anon!! I hope it gives you good service for years to come! I especially love the cutouts for the hour markers...gives the dial more complexity.

>>18022299
You're drunk. Tudors are terrible if you have the funds to buy Rolex or Omega.

>>18022304
I'd say GMT; for a 1-watch-collection, it simply does more. It'll be water resistant enough to swim with, and reliable for the movement. GMT gives you extra function compared with Sub. The only thing you lose is the 'iconic' design of the sub. There are lots of YouTubers who swear by the Explorer as a OWC.

>bear in mind, I don't find it attractive. But that's not the question, of course.

>>18022369
It's not. On any reputable modern or vintage watch, a trusty watchmaker can adjust it into great tolerances, assuming he knows how you wear it and the parts are not worn too badly. My vintage 321 is running +1 per day, assuming I leave it dial-up overnight and wind it around the same time every day. 10 seconds per day is not acceptable at all; if it is, you're not doing this right.

>>18022478
Don't worry Anon; it's just a watch. If you love the design, who cares who else wears it. Just because I wear a Speedmaster doesn't mean that I'm an astronaut...or one of the millions of astronaut wannabees. Rolii are great watches, for their price at retail. They're awful if you pay over, and the hype isn't worth the squeeze. If you love the watch, just get it and move on.

Hope you're all having a beautiful evening. I'm drunk, and having a blast. Wear what you love, buy what you love, and to hell with the rest. Also:

>there is no justification for a luxury, so don't bother to try. Just say, 'I love it', and be done. You'll be happier, and others will seethe more.

Makes sense.

CALLING HAQ-ANONS, CALLING HAQ-ANONS. HELP REQUIRED!

Cool; it's something I've never seen before!

Alright Frens, I'm off again. Hope this thread goes well!

Citizen 0100 for sure. Then again, I don't own any historical movements that are non-lever, so I can't be sure. I do agree with >>17900532 about the tuning fork movements; just don't have the courage to own one (I don't have watchmaker who can service them).

>>17900554
It's coming back into vogue...I feel like I've seen microbrands using them for neo-WWI trench watches. Can't remember the brand, but have seen them posted here before.

>>17900599
Yes, tis. How are you?

>>17900612
Never liked it, desu. Then again, it's their most 'creative' design outside of the Cellinis, so they should get points for that. I remember when the Milgauss was the ugly sibling to the non-entity OP, neither of which was desirable.

>>17900615
Morning!

>>17900619
Yeah, sadly it falls into the 'trend' category of Omega just trying to see what sticks. It's not bad in person though.

>>17900657
Love the dial on that!

>>17900668
Then you'll have a collection.

>>17900705
Doing well, but busy as shit! Are you keeping well? What are you wearing today Fren?

>>17900710
Love the shot!

>>17900879
Busy, but good. How was yours?

>>17900882
Aww...

>>17900939
Sadly, they never will. Acrylic is an inferior material for real-world durability, so Rolex will never go back. I love their domes too...but that's why I like vintage watches and not new ones.

>>17900947
I CAN'T!!!!

>>17900953
I'd also recommend Polywatch. It's what my watchmaker uses, and the tubes are cheap.

>>17901038
Enjoy! It's fun for a few months, but then everyone gets old. lol

Have a fantastic day, Frens
