Hope everyone sleeps tight. Post lume, if you can.

Awesome!

Yes, I sometimes wear a watch to sleep; mainly to time how long I've slept, but sometimes it's for sheer emotional gratification. I love charging up the lume and seeing it in the dark before I fall asleep. The original tritium lume on the 105-012 still works, but for only a minute or so...still, it's nice to see proper lume proportions on a Speedmaster for a change. You can't tell from the pic (it was activated with uv), but the old style tear-drop shaped chronograph second hand 'fills in' the gap between the long hour marker plots and the end tip of the running hour hand. That's one of the design proportions that Omega got wrong (in my view, ON PURPOSE) with the Ed White reissue (the teardrop seconds hand lume flag is too high). Watching it cross the hour hand and fill the gap is simply based. Modern watch design really sucks by comparison sometimes...

Do you ever wear yours to sleep?

Yup, for a moment. How are you Fren? What are you wearing on your wrist today?

Well, that changes everything. I still think GS for sure; remember, her church is her community, so if you're going there, you're supposed to make her look better in her choices of persons. You don't want to make her friends think she's gone crazy. Does that make sense? Her status is very important, especially in the church....hence, white birch.

Good luck, my friend. Just be yourself...either she'll love you for you, or you will lose early and not have to spend time pretending to be someone different for a long time. It's not easy loving...

Nice Moser! I've never seen one in person before, but everyone says the dials are beautiful. Why are you thinking of selling it? Just not wearing it much? It's a great dress watch...(and that's coming from someone who doesn't have a dress watch).

>embarrassing to watch
I'm sorry I embarrassed you, Anon. But don't worry; I'm not here as much as I used to be. Life gets busy, and one can't party all the time.

You misunderstand. The list was curated over decades...I only bought when I felt ready to buy. Poor people DON'T have to waste money continuously; they're only encouraged to do so by brands that don't care. That's how brands keep people poor.

If a person doesn't have money to waste on luxury goods, then they shouldn't waste money on luxury goods. A penny saved is a penny earned....surprisingly, this saying still applies.

>why isn't anyone posting watches? Am I the only person who is real here?

Can't blame you for that. The Polerouter is a beautiful design, and it doesn't really matter what iteration you go for, they're all beautiful. Good luck in the hunt for one.

The case size of the 3861 is more 'squished' than the old 1861, but the feel of the chronograph is better and the performance is miles better. It's definitely superior to the old 1861, and worth getting as a first Speedy if you don't have one already. Granted, the 1861s can still be had for around 4k or so depending, so it's a great way to get in to the model line from a price perspective. I've gone back and forth about selling my 1861, but every time I seriously start to think about it, I realize that I really do enjoy having it as part of the collection. So, it stays.
