You really can't blame a bulk of the obese population for being fat.
They are already being born fat(Hence, "this is just the way I am" arguments) because their mothers are already fat, fed on corn syrup(sugar replacement, pure carbohydrates) since the moment they were born because corn syrup is the thing that drove the american economy and are doomed to a lifetime of catering companies that get children addicted to sugary shit in their school meals.

I'd say, blame the environment they grew up in, not the people.
