Most people here are into fashion from a runway point-of-view, rather than a "I want to just look good in clothes" point-of-view, such as /r/mfa.

That's why >>11286646 isn't going down well (safe, traditional, boring) even though it accentuates his form and makes him seem presentable; yet >>11286665 will likely find more praise, as it's totally unconventional although still remaining aesthetically pleasing. He's put much more thought into this, sought out the right pieces in the exact shades of blue, etc. whereas Mustard-Trousers dude only had to follow a 'How to dress well' guide for men.

That's also why /fa/ is currently going out of their way to dress intentionally bad - because it's in. I think the level of chelsea boots will be declining fairly soon, although not dad hats, unfortunately. If I was you I'd stick to prep threads, 'manly fashion' threads, maybe palewave. desu I'd agree with you that majority of fits here are really poor at the moment. Very little thought going into them, just your standard follow-the-leader /fa/ hivemind but more shit.
