It's not that great. You just go to the separate sections of a store and try on shit yourself, then show them what you've selected as you're checking out together.

Then you go home and watch Firehead.

I can tell you stories about the myriad scents I share my home with. I've smelled things you people wouldn't believe.

Well, mostly it's feces and urea with some earthy tones. Cat feces and piss smells the worst when combined with cheap litter. Unbreathable if I'm too close to it. Snake feces is more musty fertilizer with a tinge of aseptic cleaner from the solid uric acid. Occasionally, someone won't eat a rat and when I wake up, it smells like death from the bloated corpse that's rotting from the inside out. A large lizard that roams around the house will sometimes drop a warm, smelly load after gorging himself on cockroaches that smells exactly like what you'd imagine digested cockroaches (plus dat uric acid) smell like. The cleanest odor is emitted from the rabbit whose hutch is like a tiny barnyard, but if he eats too much protein from alfalfa, he'll go into alpha mode and start spraying everything with a deep orange, pungent piss.

Actually, the best smelling thing in the house are the roach bins. They eat a lot of citrus fruit, so they smell great. Sort of like aged moss and wood shavings with a punch of citrus.

Combine all of the above with a constant scent of coffee too. Right now it smells like distant creosote bushes recently drenched by rain, ozone and coffee. No poop tonight.

Another great smell I remember from childhood was freshly watered peat moss and sphagnum moss. My god, it was the best, most comforting smell that exists.
