I just started using this recently and I'm getting a lot of comments from people that my hair looks really greasy. Am I using it wrong? Could my hair color be the problem? I really want to keep using it just because I love the way it smells.

I used a very little bit of this in damp hair, and then cool air blow dry very briefly in the direction opposite how I want it styled and let dry for 30 minutes while I continue my day/morning. After that, I style it in the direction I want it and it stays for about 4-5 days if I don't rinse it at all with no excess greasy feeling. Seeing as it's spring/summer I typically rinse every other day with just water, and do a gentle wash every other rinse period. My hair stays clean, full, voluminous, styles easily.

Going to try this out, any tips on how to style with it? Should I wet my hair before or anything?
