People on here obsess a little too much on styling them but when it comes down to it, they're just black sneakers. They're def an exaggerated design but that's the point. It's kind of his critique on American sneaker culture with the huge tongue and sole. Super original design- his style in general blew up because he was able to take his experiences and the aesthetic of the seedy LA goth/ leather bar nightclub scene at make them high fashion.
