mine did nothing except "work" all day (inc weekends) and coming home at 4am
i knew he had a china mistress, owed a ton of money outside and I even paid for some of his debt when i was 19 because they were coming to our house and my mother was on the brink of a mental breakdown
i had no meaningful time with him growing up and i was always (still am) kinda envious of other boys who had such things
