Pic on the left is my hair after I comb it when it's damp and let it dry. After it's dried off, If I comb it in any other direction it turns into the disaster on the right. The best way to describe it's feel is like a dog's hair. It's rough, coarse and unstylable like facial hair but not as dry.

I'm not asking for styling tips because it's still too short. I just want to know what the hell kind of hair texture this is called and what kind of product or techniques outside of less shampoo I can use to make it more manageable.
