What's a cheap alternative to common projects achilles low?

i'm saving up for common projects and wondering if you guys recommend the white achilles or the black ones (i'll post the black in a bit)

i think white would be a better idea because i don't dress goof and white is way more versatile in sneakers in my opinion

I'm going to cop white CP Achilles on Mr Porter.
I heard they run large so you have to size down 1, I usually wear size 42 and I have narrow feet.

Should I cop them in size 41 ? They fit tts, according to Mr Porter.
