It is to establish a Socialist state, like I have already mentioned Communism is the point of post scarcity it is a goal but by that point instantiations like the state will no longer exist along with commodity usage.

Because labor expropriation, Imperialist exploitation are against the interest of the working class in Ireland. Contradictions that exist under capitalism such as the tendency of the rate of profit to fall makes it entirely unsustainable.

Connolly was one of the founding/leading members of the Marxist anti-imperialist paramilitary group the Irish Citizen Army. If you deny Connolly was a Marxist then you clearly have absolutely no idea who he was. Connolly even helped lay the groundwork for the Limerick Soviet through trade union activities and organisation.
