BARS is (slightly) more water-proofed than SSO's Gorka but also is a tad bit rougher feeling and darker. BARS is arguably built more sturdily but sun-bleaches faster and fits tighter than SSO's (as per width to length ratio). Personally I like the SSO Gorka more because you have a variety of patterns to choose from with different camo schemes (or just olive drab and tan-ish green). Keep in mind it will be baggy AF regardless.
