As for watches, here is my new purchase:

It's ugly, for sure, but I find the design to be rather charming. It's kind of like the Hummer H1 or the Volkswagen Beetle. They have ugly designs, but they have a certain charm to them. The Seiko Monster delivers this charm in spades.

I also can't wait to take this thing out for diving, snorkeling, etc. I'm going to beat this thing to shit.

Here's my new cop, a Seiko SRP307. "Monster" series. Automatic movement, handwinding, and hackable. It's supposedly more accurate than the divers with the 7S26 movement. I can't wait.
