I tried burying and unless you get the buired garment to an actual state of decay there is little to no point. I personally wouldn't recommend it from trying it with both pants and jacket, unless its a throw away garment that little or no work would be lost from

It is a black repro and yes i run into the same thing. i find i have to wear the right length vest or jacket to make it work and yes breaking in and wear solves most problems
