We went over this in the last thread, only very few companies, or individuals are actual "watchmakers", some companies come with new tech now and then, but that is a combined effort.

At the end of the day, speaking strictly in utility, a quartz/solar seiko/casio/citizen will blow any COSC mechanical out of the water and will feature more gizmos, likely weigh less and will stay accurate while running for years.

But muh soul and all that jazz. If you want a very precise mechanical, nothing wrong with ETA Top models.
If you want excellent finishing, look elsewhere. Like the avatar anon wrote, mechanical "tool watches" are an anachronism.

tl;dr Id wager they would want to be COSC certified chronometres at those price ranges, but who knows, really
