i pay almost no attention to what male celebs are wearing, but i've always liked wes anderson's point of view and consistency in how he dresses himself; generally not as twee and affected as characters in his films, but often mining many of the same colors and textures and time period. he's almost always in a suit and tie, or a blazer and pants, sometimes with a sweater, mixing and matching, herringbone, corduroy, seersucker, wool, linen, plaid, browns, oranges, yellows, greens, usually with comfy shoes. it doesn't come off as tryhard or immature on him. or like a costume. it's just him, and something he's been doing for twenty-odd years now. he's pushed into more classical suiting and less playfulness these days, but he doesn't make it look like a death sentence.
