it's a big fucking thing online. or it used to be. it did kinda come naturally from that idea though; when your deep in that crazed ED fog and struggling, you look for something to give you strength. anorexia becomes this weird personified thing that you can't disappoint by eating or whatever, and its title often becomes Ana or goddess ana. it's funny as fuck to think about but it makes sense, especially when you consider your ED as the source of like ultimate feminine beauty, frailty and agelessness. "Ana" is an obvious name and when it becomes a force you're terrified of failing or striving to become, you get a title like "goddess."
