Got finally my free samples of Mechant Loup and Passage d'Enfer. Sprayed the latter after the gym and I must say that I'm impressed. However it's not as incensy as I expected it to be. It's almost a lily soliflore to my nose/on my skin. It's also not very abstract - I picked up separate notes of lily, incense and wood almost immediately but they definitely work very well together. These are 3 out of 4 - I don't get a lot of musk yet (about 2h in). Very snice stuff but it's definitely unisex and I will give my sample to finish to my gf - she was looking for some incense frags recently. Looking forward testing Mechant Loup.

The girl that wants to become a perfumer that I talked to told me that one of the chapters of a thesis she wrote was about ingredients that influence psyche. We were talking about a study looking into how does hedione affects women/men, so I reckon there should be something about musk. However it's for sure not anything like people talking about pheromones want make them out to be.

This is what I wanted Creed Viking to smell like. It smells expensive from the first sniff. It's woodsy, spicy and refreshing. Very, very well balanced fragrance that you can wear all year round. It's quite safe on one hand and very sophisticated and unique on the other. I totally understand why LT gave it 5/5 stars. If you want just one power fragrance and don't bother with anything else this might be it. I found a good deal on 50/120ml full bottle on one of fb groups and going to buy it this weekend.

Probably my favorite vetiver and one of my top Duchaufour's fragrances. The mango note is brilliant.
