Thank you. I'm glad that you see it like this. I wrote similar posts in the past and other anons too. It seems that there are quite a few redpilled guys here.
But that's just the result of lurking, after some time you will get some info about the industry and then you start asking questions.
The first time i had this was when i saw some pic about the swiss watch groups.
Of course almost every other industry has this kind of thing and big groups buy the smaller ones up. But other products are not that expensive so there must be fuckery on a big scale.

Based, that's how it is for most of the swiss watch (((industry))). They have several big groups that bought up smaller groups that fit their product protfolio. They try to fill all the price niches and also get brands that attract different kinds of communities via marketing.
(e.g. omega and james bond fans)

It's rumored that they agree on prices to not kill eachother with competition and not get nuked by quartz or the japs again.
Those who don't want to agree on prices can be forced to. Look at ETA, they produce movements for all the companies and those who don't want to cooperate, get no discounts and have to price their watches similarly high like the ones that control the market.
