I've been cutting my own hair, but I got really bored of it.
What does /fa/ suggest I do?
I was thinking of growing the longer part even longer or cutting everything (buzzcut).

I've tried nopoo, and I can't get the two-day grease out of my hair no matter how long I wash it for, so I usually give up and use just a dab of shampoo (about a fingertip-worth).
What am I doing wrong?
