Okay I literally just got into watches so I might be totally off the mark but:
Does anyone truly aspire to get an Omega or is buying them always a coping strategy for not being able to get a Rolex? It just seems to me like Rolex sets the tone and Omega is there to satisfy all the people who can't get their hands on what they really want. I know that there is a lot of history that I'm ignoring and that this is a huge generalization but I've just seen so much smug rationalization combined with barely concealed rage around this it got me thinkin
