I recommended it because he clearly likes the styling enough to get the 5KX.
Also feel like the SKX is an end of an era for seiko; affordably priced dive watches that aren't all glammed up like the King Turtle or even the 5KX non-diver descendants.

agreed, kamasu is a very decent watch. I personally prefer the more proletarian aesthetic of the SKX over the shiny diver look that the (much better finished) Kamasu has.
And if you like shiny but no diver get the dresskx, it's dope.

there has been a general trend toward smaller watches for a while now. part of it probably has to do with every second dive watch in the last 20 years being fucking 44mm, so I don't consider it a bad thing
