..Or some of the winter Strichtarn trousers. They're a rare case where the repro ones (miltec/strum I think) are actually pretty good.

Other options that aren;t quite quilted but along those lines: British Army softie trousers; US army ECW stuff (I don;t remember which level); German army quilted liner (The same material as their parka liner); Austrian padded trousers and possibly those WW2 splinter trouser repros, I'm sure they're lined with blanket.
