Is our lord and savior Raf Simons losing his touch?

His designs have always been a favorite of mine but lately most of his stuff has been leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

/fa/, what is your favourite Raf Simons era? Mine would be 2004-2008, he seemed to be at the top of his game in terms of pushing interesting designs and creating classic pieces to be sought after for years to come.
Despite that my favourite collection of his would probably be SS15 based on the simplicity and honesty of it, it lacked a lot of the pretension that some of his recent work has had, and I have never seen a runway collection convey the sense of ambience quite like it did. Craig Green SS15 had a similar feeling.

1995-2000 - youth culture, music culture, tribes, angst, earlier focus on uniforms and youth attire, later focus on sharp tailoring and dark silhouettes.
HIGHLIGHTS - How to Talk to Your Teen, Radioactivity, Confusion

2001-2004 - youth protest and rebellion, larger and baggier silhouettes, layering, iconic cultural imagery, sinister edge, subversion
HIGHLIGHTS - Woe Onto Those…, Consumed, Closer

2004-2008 - modern tailoring, futurism, slim silhouettes, minimalism, heavy exploration of textures and fabrics (neoprene, metallics, perforated, sheer, hessian blends, leathers, etc.)
HIGHLIGHTS - FW04, FW05, SS06, SS/FW08

2009-2011 - absolute trash
HIGHLIGHTS - fuck off

2012-present - heavy use of graphics/patterns/motifs, androgyny, pop art, sneakers, sweaters, slim tailoring, collaborative
HIGHLIGHTS - FW12, FW14, SS15

I second this. I've always wondered how people can manage to spend so much money to intentionally look like shit.

Well m8, what is it? I'm still going to judge you if it's because you like the "idea of paying for quality materials" because you can buy quality materials that look at least halfway decent. This Raf Simons shit looks like a cheap walmart shoe. There's a reason Raf himself doesn't wear this gay shit...
