Exercise might help mentally. I'm bipolar type 2 (the sadder more depressive one) and organizing my life a bit has really helped. My biggest piece of advice is a regular sleep schedule of 7-8 hours. After you have that taken care of, add some exercise. Forces some feel good chemicals in your brain that's better than beer in the long run.

Unfortunately he sucks just as much as most psych students I know. Don't know why psychology draws the biggest assholes. The ones that pat themselves on the back for lecturing people and not helping at all.
