I dropped my Speedmaster's 1861 movement on the floor the same day I got the watch.

I saw that there was a dust particle on the dial and it was bothering me, so I decided to open the caseback, take the movement out, blow the dust and put it back together. How hard can that be?

Well, while I was doing this I dropped the fucking movement, and as a result one of its hands is missing (pic related). I couldn't find it.

The funny thing is that the watch keeps time like a champ. It's +4 seconds fast a day every single day, and everything works perfectly. It was a pretty hard fall, too. It bounced. Maybe that's why they like it at Nasa lol, it can take a hit

I should take it to Omega for service so they put the missing hand back, but I read that they take months to give you your watch back and I keep putting it off.
